Fountain for the Thirsty

Love. Listen. Learn

Who We Are

Thanks to your donations, we have been feeding the homeless in the suburbs of Linden and Blairgowrie, Johannesburg since April 2017. So far we have served over 30 000 hot cooked meals!

I used to cry when I saw people begging for food at every street corner. When I saw a man sleep under a tree on the corner of my street.

I asked God, "What can I do? I have no money and I am very young”.

God's response was simple, " But don't you have lunch".

That day I shared my lunch.

Since then I bought bananas, apples and made extra sandwiches to distribute on my way to varsity.

My prayer was, “God, may there be no hungry people on my route to university”.

And so began the start of our community feeding scheme, The Dinner Table.

Not only do we feed the homeless, we love them, we listen to them, and we learn from them.

We hope to one day expand into building numerous shelters for the homeless.

We are a registered NPO 217-811 and NPC 2017 / 13748
